Create new ways to interact with coral reefs.

While coral reefs face various concerns due to climate change, it has been discovered that some coral species have a high level of adaptability to their environment. Coral reefs that are declining due to human influence should be able to be restored by human effort.

Coral planting

Coral planting

We have planted over 150,000 coral plants (*as of 2020) in the ocean.

In the sea in front of Coral Farm in Yomitan Village, Okinawa, we have been planting coral since 2009 and have planted over 80,000 corals.

At the beginning of the project, the area had only a few hump corals and knob corals. With the planting of coral seedlings from the coral farm and the release of larvae, the area has expanded to a size that can be called landforms as of 2023.
